Pristine condition inside and out with rich warm tone. Action has low hours of play and feels professional... very smooth and responsive. The satin ebony option for the cabinet is harder to come across. The satin effect takes more labor hours to accomplish but is worth the work, as the results are stunning. This U1 is entirely made in Hamamatsu, Japan and utilizes all old-growth woods for the manufacturing. There is no longer old-growth lumber available for current piano production. This U1 was built in the golden-age of Yamaha and plays like new.
